The Indian Railways will launch Aastha special trains following the inauguration of the Ram Temple on January 22. According to reports, these trains will connect 66 different places across the country to Ayodhya.

In order to accommodate devotees who wish to visit the Ram Temple, each train will have 22 coaches. In the meantime, preparations are well underway for the big day's consecration ceremony of the Ram Lalla idol.

There will be special Aastha trains operating out of New Delhi, Old Delhi, Anand Vihar, and Nizamuddin. The trains will depart from Agartala, Tinsukia, Barmer, Katra, Jammu, Nashik, Dehradun, Bhadrak, Khurda Road, Kottayam, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, and Kazipet in addition to the nation's capital.

The Aastha Special train in Tamil Nadu will depart from nine stations, including Madurai, Salem, and Chennai.

The Aastha special trains going from Maharashtra to the holy city in Uttar Pradesh will stop at seven stations: Nagpur, Pune, Mumbai, Wardha, Jalna, and Nashik.

Ticket Bookings

The IRCTC portal, which also offers trip information, will be used to make reservations for tickets to Ayodhya for these special trains. Those who are devoted to performing Ram Lalla darshan must, however, also reserve return tickets.

These trains will be accessible for the first ninety days.

The service will be extended per the later booking response.

Railways anticipates that there will be a year-round demand for reservations for Aastha Special trains.
