Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has started sending out invitations for the consecration ceremony of 'Ram Lalla' in the soon-to-be-completed Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The consecration ceremony will be held on the day of temple inauguration on January 22, 2024, the trust said earlier.
The first visuals of the invitation card were shared by ANI on 'X' on Saturday. According to the news agency, invitations to attend the 'Pran Pratishtha' are extended to nearly 6,000 people including prominent seers.
Meanwhile, a saint has said that he received the first invitation to attend the ceremony. While talking to news agency PTI, the saint said that he was overjoyed to get the first invitation from the trust via post. According to media reports, the invitation letter text appeals that the construction of Ram Temple is a culmination of a long and hard struggle.

The consecration ceremony of the new idol of Ram Lalla will take place in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple on January 22, the twelfth day of the month of Paush. There is a strong desire for you to be present in Ayodhya and witness this auspicious occasion.
Earlier, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust extended an invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath in October and November respectively. With temple construction in full swing, three versions of the 'Ram Lalla' (the infant Ram) are being created. According to the Trust, the best version will be placed in the sanctum sacrotum.
In the final preparation stage, videos of floor-laying were released earlier by the Trust on its 'X' account.

"In the third week of January 2024, the idol of Ram Lalla will be installed at its original place by Prime Minister Narendra Modi," said Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri Maharaj in Thane, Maharashtra.
Last month, the Trust shared images of the floor-inlay work of the Ram Temple through X. PM Modi laid the temple's foundation stone on August 5, 2020.
