Ram Mandir News:  Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath will attend the consecration ceremony of Shri Ramlala Deity in the newly constructed Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in the holy city of Ayodhya. On Friday, officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust met the Chief Minister and extended a formal invitation for the consecration ceremony. After this meeting at his official residence, CM Yogi wrote on his social media account, 'Today, my life is blessed. The heart is joyful.'

Taking to 'X', CM Yogi expressed his happiness, he wrote, "Respected officials of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Swami Govinddev Giri Ji Maharaj, Champat Rai and Rajendra Pankaj have invited me for the consecration program of the new child idol of Lord Shri Ramlala Sarkar in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple. Gratitude! Jai Jai Sitaram."

Earlier, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust released fresh visuals from the construction site of Shri Ram Mandir ahead of the Diwali festivities.

Earlier, the trust officials had extended an invitation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of the consecration ceremony of Shri Ramlala Deity on January 22. 

In another video, the construction of the outside premises of the temple could be seen. 

Notably, Shri Gorakshpeeth has been continuously associated with the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi case. During the British rule, Chief Minister Yogi's grandfather Mahant Digvijaynath, voiced the issue of the Shri Ram temple. After his death, Mahant Avedyanath made Gurudev's resolve his own, after which, the decisive struggle for the construction of the Shri Ram Temple movement was initiated.

In 1984, when the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yagya Committee was formed at Valmiki Bhawan in Ayodhya, the then Gorakshpeethadhishwar Mahant Avedyanathwas unanimously elected as the president. Since then, Mahant Shri Avedyanath Ji Maharaj remained the president of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mukti Yagya Samiti throughout his life.

It is noteworthy that more than 4000 saints-mahatmas of the country and 2500 eminent personalities of the society will be present in this much-awaited consecration ceremony including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Paush Shukla Dwadashi, Vikram Samvat 2080 (22 January 2024).
