The Ranchi-Howrah-Ranchi Vande Bharat Express (train number 20898/20897) has been cancelled on Saturday due to technical reasons. In another development, four other trains have also been cancelled due to non-interlocking work at Kotarliya railway station under the Raigarh-Jharsuguda railway section on the Bilaspur division of South-East Central Railway. The cancellation is aimed at facilitating the ongoing work, which is expected to enhance rail infrastructure in the region.

The Other Cancelled Trains Are 

  • Darbhanga-Secunderabad Express (train number 17008): Cancelled from Darbhanga on: 11, 15, 18, 22 and 25 April.
  • Secunderabad-Darbhanga Express (train number 17007): Cancelled from Secunderabad on: 08, 12, 15, 19 and 22 April.
  • Hatia-Lokmanya Tilak Terminal Express (trian number 12812): Cancelled from Hatia on: 11, 12, 18 and 19 April.
  • Lokmanya Tilak Terminal-Hatia Express (12811): Cancelled from Lokmanya Tilak Terminal on: 13, 14, 20 and 21 April.

Temporary Coaches Added In Six Trains To Avoid Inconvenience

The number of coaches has temporarily been increased in six trains operating from the Ranchi Railway Division to avoid inconvenience to passengers. Additional Sleeper Coaches for Ranchi-Banaras Express, Banaras-Ranchi Express, Ranchi-Ara Express, and Ara-Ranchi Express. Dates and train numbers are as follows-

  • Train number 18611 (Ranchi-Banaras Express) from April 1 to June 30
  • Train number 18612 (Banaras-Ranchi Express) from April 2 to July 1
  • Train number 18640 (Ranchi-Ara Express) from April 3 to June 28
  • Train number 18639 (Ara-Ranchi Express) from April 4 to June 29

Tata Hatia Express Diverted

Train number 18601, the Tata Hatia Express, which departs from Tatanagar on April 2, will take a diverted route via Chandil, Gundbihar, and Muri to Hatia, instead of its usual route via Chandil, Purulia, and Kotshila station.

Passengers are advised to plan their journey accordingly and check with the railway authorities for any further updates.
