Ranchi-Kamakhya, Malda-Surat Express, Other Trains Diverted Amid Non-Interlocking Work At Durgapur Station; List

Railway News: Yard remodeling and non-interlocking work at Durgapur station on the Dhanbad-Howrah railway line will affect trains until December 31. These include important weekly trains like Ranchi-Kamakhya and Malda Town-Surat, which run via Dhanbad, jagran.com reported.

These trains will be diverted throughout December. Due to the route change, these trains will not go to Durgapur from both directions. Eastern Railway stated that the engines of the Ranchi-Kamakhya and Malda Town-Surat Express will be changed at Andal instead of Durgapur until December.

12551 Bengaluru-Kamakhya Express, 12552 Kamakhya-Bengaluru Express, 13417 Digha-Malda Town Express, 13418 Malda Town-Digha Express 15629 Tambaram-Silghat Town Express, 15630 Silghat Town-Tambaram Express, 15929 Tambaram-New Tinsukia Express, 15930 New Tinsukia-Tambaram Express, 22611 Chennai-New Jalpaiguri Superfast, 22612 New Jalpaiguri-Chennai Superfast will also be diverted on different dates in December.

Trains Diverted

-13425 Malda Town-Surat Weekly Express will run via Andal, Sainthia and Asansol instead of Durgapur, Andal and Asansol on November 29 and December 6, 13, 20 and 27.

-13426 Surat-Malda Town Weekly Express will run via Asansol, Andal and Sainthia instead of Asansol, Andal and Durgapur on December 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29.

-15661 Ranchi-Kamakhya Weekly Express will run via Asansol, Andal and Sainthia instead of Asansol, Andal and Durgapur on November 26 and December 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31.

-15662 Kamakhya-Ranchi Express will run via Andal, Sainthia and Asansol instead of Durgapur, Andal and Asansol on 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th December.
