The Rashtrapati Bhavan has announced that Amrit Udyan is now open for public viewing from February 2 to March 30. The winter annual edition was inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu. Visitors can access the garden six days a week from 10 am to 6 pm, except Mondays, which are reserved for maintenance.

The garden will remain closed on specific dates, February 5 (due to Delhi Legislative Assembly polling), February 20 and 21 (Visitors' Conference), and March 14 (Holi). Special access will be granted on March 26 for divyangjan, March 27 for personnel of defence, paramilitary and police forces, March 28 for women's self-help groups and March 29 for senior citizens.

How To Book Tickets For Amrit Udyan

Entry to Amrit Udyan is free. Visitors can book their slots online atvisit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in. However, walk-in visitors are also welcome without prior booking.

Nearest Metro Station To Rashtrapati Bhavan

The designated entry and exit for all visitors will be through Gate No. 35 of the President’s Estate, near North Avenue. A shuttle bus service will run every 30 minutes from Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35 between 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

What’s Allowed At Amrit Udyan 

Visitors can carry mobile phones, electronic keys, purses, handbags, water bottles and milk bottles for infants. Drinking water, restrooms and first-aid facilities will be available throughout the public route.

Amrit Udyan 2025: Key Highlights 

This year, in addition to tulips, Amrit Udyan will showcase 140 varieties of roses and over 80 other flower species. The designated route for visitors includes Bal Vatika, Plumeria Theme Garden, Bonsai Garden, Central Lawn, Long Garden and Circular Garden. Detailed information about the floral displays can be accessed through QR codes placed across the garden.

Besides Amrit Udyan, visitors can also explore Rashtrapati Bhavan and its museum from Tuesday to Sunday. Additionally, the Change of Guard ceremony can be witnessed every Saturday, except on Gazetted holidays.
