Republic Day 2026 Parade: India is set to celebrate its 77th Republic Day on January 26, 2026. The day commemorates the adoption of the Indian Constitution on January 26, 1950, when India officially became a sovereign, democratic republic. The Republic Day is celebrated with an iconic parade on Kartavya Path near India Gate in New Delhi.

The Republic Day celebrations begin with Prime Minister Narendra Modi laying a wreath at the National War Memorial. Following this, President Droupadi Murmu unfurls the National Flag to start the iconic parade.

- Citizens can watch the grand Republic Day Parade live online on Monday, January 26, 2026, on Doordarshan or its official YouTube channel.

- The broadcast will also be available on All India Radio's YouTube channel, various government websites, and across national news channels, Hindustan Times reported.

Republic Day 2026: Check Venue, Timings And Other Details

- Time: The Republic Day Parade is scheduled to begin at 9:30 AM with the Prime Minister's visit to the National War Memorial, followed by live coverage of the parade at 10:30 AM. For those attending in person, gates will open around 7 AM.

- Ticket Prices: Tickets for the Republic Day Parade on January 26 are priced at Rs 100 and Rs 20, while tickets for the Beating the Retreat ceremony on January 29 are priced at Rs 100. Tickets for the Beating the Retreat Full Dress Rehearsal on January 28 are priced at Rs 20.

- Ticket Booking: Tickets can be purchased online through the Aamantran portal or at physical booths/counters at Sena Bhawan, Shastri Bhawan, Jantar Mantar, Parliament House, and the Rajiv Chowk and Kashmere Gate metro stations.
