Nina Kutina, a Russian woman who was recently discovered living with her two young daughters in a cave near Gokarna, Karnataka, has taken another unexpected turn. According to a report by The Indian Express, Kutina has claimed that one of her daughters was born in a cave in Goa, and that the father of both children is an Israeli businessman currently residing in India.

Kutina and her daughters, aged six and four, were found on July 9 during a police patrol in the Uttara Kannada district. Following their rescue, authorities uncovered that Kutina's visa had expired in 2017. She is currently being housed at a detention centre in Bengaluru.

Officials from the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) stated that they were able to locate the Israeli man named by Kutina, who is reportedly in his 40s and in India on a business visa. He is said to be involved in the clothing business and acknowledged his relationship with Kutina. “So, he is the father of the children who were with Nina. He is in the clothing business. We have been able to meet him," an official told The Indian Express.

The authorities also reached out to the Israeli national to see if he could arrange travel tickets for Kutina and her daughters. Their eventual deportation is being coordinated through the Russian consulate, a process that is expected to take up to a month. “She has another child back in Russia, and we have informed the Consul General of Russia in Chennai," said an official.

Kutina initially withheld information about the father of her children, but later revealed details during counseling. She explained her decision to live in the wild, telling ANI, “I did not come to Gokarna for spirituality but because nature gives good health." She also shared that she had lost her son many years ago.

Speaking to reporters outside a hospital in Bengaluru, she described her life in the forest with her daughters as peaceful. “We have a lot of experience staying in nature, in the jungle. We were not dying, and I did not bring my daughters so that they would die here. They were very happy, swimming in the waterfall, a very good place for sleeping…” she said. “For the first time her kids saw the hospital and doctors,” she added.
