Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually flag-off new Vande Bharat, during his two day visit to Gujarat, along with several other railway projects from Dahod.  The new Vande Bharat Express between Ahmedabad (Sabarmati) and Gir Somnath (Veraval) will significantly cut travel time, offering a faster and more comfortable journey for pilgrims and tourists heading to the Somnath temple, according to Western Railway (WR).

Train No. 26901 Sabarmati–Veraval Vande Bharat Superfast Express will begin operations on May 27 and run six days a week, excluding Thursdays. The train will depart from Sabarmati at 5:25 a.m. and arrive in Veraval at 12:25 p.m.

Sabarmati To Veraval Vande Bharat Express: Travel Time

The Sabarmati–Veraval Vande Bharat Express will operate as train number 26901 from Sabarmati to Veraval, and as train number 26902 on the return journey. Covering a distance of 438 km in 7 hours, this semi-high-speed train will run six days a week, excluding Thursdays.

Train 26901 will depart from Sabarmati at 5:25 a.m. and arrive in Veraval at 12:25 p.m. On the return leg, train 26902 will leave Veraval at 2:40 p.m. and reach Sabarmati at 9:35 p.m. the same day.

Sabarmati To Veraval Vande Bharat Express: Rout And Couches 

En route, the train will halt at Viramgam, Surendranagar, Wankaner, Rajkot, and Junagadh stations in both directions. The train consists of eight coaches, including AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car classes.

Sabarmati To Veraval Vande Bharat Express: Ticket Bookings 

Ticket booking for the Sabarmati to Veraval Vande Bharat Express has commenced. Tickets can be purchased online through the IRCTC website and app, or offline at Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters at railway stations.

Sabarmati To Veraval Vande Bharat Express: Ticket Price 

The fare for travelling on the Vande Bharat Express between Sabarmati and Veraval is Rs 1,105 for AC Chair Car and Rs 2,110 for Executive AC.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also flag off a new express train between Valsad and Dahod stations.
