Saif Ali Khan Attack Case: A carpenter was questioned by the Mumbai Police on Friday in relation to the knife attack on Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan at his Bandra apartment. Due to his similar appearance to the intruder's, the carpenter, named Waris Ali Salmani, was taken to the Bandra police station for interrogation.
The invader, who repeatedly stabbed Saif Ali Khan inside his Bandra home, was spotted hurrying down the stairs from the sixth floor of the "Satguru Sharan" building while sporting a red scarf and a backpack.
According to an official quoted by PTI, Salmani had been working at the actor's apartment two days before the incident and was told about the attack by the contractor who had hired him for the job.
To find and apprehend the assailant, almost thirty teams have been assembled.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Minister Yogesh Kadam stressed that no underworld gang was engaged in the knife assault and stated that robbery was the only reason for the occurrence.

CM Fadnavis Says Police Have Many Clues
Devendra Fadnavis, the chief minister of Maharashtra, stated on Friday that the police have several leads in the case of the Saif Ali Khan attack and will apprehend the perpetrator shortly.
"Police investigation is going on....they have got many clues and I feel the police will very soon zero in (on the culprit)," the chief minister said.
Saif Ali Khan Recovering After Attack
Saif Ali Khan's medical team reported that the actor was making a full recovery. However, they claimed that Saif was exceedingly lucky that the knife attack did not cause any permanent harm.
According to Lilavati Hospital's COO, Dr Niraj Uttamani, Saif Ali Khan is a true hero. However, he stated the actor was extremely lucky because if the knife had penetrated his spine two millimetres more deeply, he may have suffered a serious injury.
