Bollywood Actor Saif Ali Khan praised the Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi in a recent interview at the India Today Conclave. The Devara-starrer chose Rahul Gandhi on being asked about the 'brave' politicians of the country. Responding to what kind of politicians Saif like, he said, "I like a brave politician, an honest politician."
The host in the show asked Saif to name a brave politician. He also take names of PM Narendra Modi, former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, and Rahul Gandhi as examples and asked Saif to name onebrave politician.
"I think they are all brave politicians. I think what Rahul Gandhi has done has been very impressive. There was a point when people were disrespecting things he was saying and doing. And I think he has turned that around by working very hard in a very interesting way," he said.
A video from the show is also going viral on the social media platforms with netizens calling it the star’s 'endorsement' for Rahul Gandhi.

Earlier, former Union Minister and BJP leader Smriti Irani acknowledged LoP and her arch-rival Rahul Gandhi’s changed leadership. Irani, during a podcast, said Raebareli MP believes he has “tasted success” and has now adopted a different style in political discourse.

"Rahul Gandhi has experienced a change in his politics. He believes he has tasted success. For the first time, he is speaking with such instrumental impact. Rahul Gandhi is now pursuing a different kind of politics," she said.
