As per a chargesheet filed in Salman Khan house firing case, the Mumbai Police alleged Anmol Bishnoi, younger brother of infamous gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, ordered hired gunmen to fire shots outside the Bollywood actor’s house to intimidate him. This was a part of a comprehensive plan the gang made to create its dominance in Mumbai for monetary and other gains, HT reported quoting Mumbai Police.
The chargesheet has been submitted to the special Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) court. It contains transcripts of conversations between Anmol Bishnoi and shooter Vicky Kumar Gupta. Anmol allegedly asked the shooter to smoke during the act to look fearless in the CCTV footage, as per the news outlet.

Anmol Bishnoi asked Gupta to scare the actor properly even if the act took a few minutes, asserting that his name would be there in all the newspapers and he would be famous.
In the early hours of April 14, two men on a motorcycle fired shots outside Salman's Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra. The crime branch subsequently apprehended Vikas Kumar Gupta and Sagar Kumar Pal, the two individuals suspected of carrying out the shooting, in Gujarat.
Following the gunfire incident outside Khan's residence, Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi's brother, claimed responsibility in an online post, describing it as a "preview" and issuing a warning to the Bollywood actor. As per the police sources, the gunmen were hired by Anmol Bishnoi and the duo was paid some amount of money for the crime.
The individuals arrested in the case are Vicky Gupta, Sagar Pal, Sonukumar Bishnoi, Mohd Rafiq Choudhary, Harpal Singh, and Anujkumar Thapan. Thapan reportedly committed suicide while in police custody, while the remaining five are currently in judicial custody.
