Rajasthan BJP MLA Kirodi Lal Meena, who recently resigned as a state minister on Wednesday handed over ‘evidence’ of a paper leak in the recruitment examination conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) to the Special Operations Group (SOG) ADG VK Singh. Meena alleged that due to the role of many SOG officials, the paper leak accused could not be exposed so far and the evidence will help the SOG catch the 'big fish'.

Meena also levelled allegations against SOG officials and the RPSC Chairman and threatened to sit on a 'Satyagraha' if suitable action is not taken against the guilty within 15 days. The BJP MLA emphasised that the masterminds behind the senior teacher recruitment paper leak- Udaram and Suresh Dhaka, should be arrested soon. “The prime accused Udaram and Suresh Dhaka are treasure troves of information, whose arrests should be made as soon as possible,” Meena was quoted as saying by news agency IANS.

Meena also accused Sanjay Shrotriya, the chairman of the RPSC, of having engaged in irregularities by giving private individuals the task of examining the answer sheets. "SOG officials who played with the future of the youth of Rajasthan should be arrested. The leaders who gave them instructions should also be brought to the book," Meena stated.

Hitting out at the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government in Rajasthan, Meena said, “The previous government helped the paper leak mafia flourish, and some SOG officials supported them. I have given the names of those SOG officials to the ADG.”

Earlier in December 2022, questions for an examination to recruit second-grade teachers, organised by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission, were found to be leaked. An investigation revealed that it was not a copy of the question paper that was leaked, but a set of questions. A member of the commission, Babulal Katara, who was in charge of setting the paper, had allegedly leaked the questions.
