Festival Special Train: The railway has announced that it will operate special festival trains from Sealdah to Patna in the upcoming months to manage the crowd. The authority stated that the additional trains will operate during Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath to provide convenience to the passengers. The authority stated that the decision was taken after receiving multiple requests from the passengers, adding that the move will benefit the residents of several states, including West Bengal, Jharkhand, and Bihar. The authority has advised the passengers to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.

Special train between Sealdah and Patna

- Railway will operate additional special trains to accommodate the surge in passengers residing in these cities.

- The trains will operate on each Sunday between October 5 and November 16.

- The train will depart from Sealdah at 12.30 am and reach Patna at 3 pm on the same day.

- Patna-Sealdah Puja Special will depart from Patna every Sunday at 5:15 pm and reach Sealdah at 6 am the next day.

- The authority stated that second-class, sleeper-class, and air-conditioned-class facilities will be available in this train.

- This train will stop at Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, and Jasidih stations of the Asansol Division of Eastern Railway in both directions during its route.

- Thousands of people are likely to travel to their hometowns during the upcoming festivals.

- Apart from this, several other special trains will operate in the upcoming months to provide relief to the commuters.

However, the authority has advised the passengers to plan their travel accordingly and follow the guidelines to avoid inconveniences. The railway has announced that it will operate several trains in the upcoming weeks to manage the crowd during the festival season.
