Seelampur Murder Case: The Delhi Police on Friday detained a lady don, identified as Zikra, in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old boy in Delhi's Seelampur area. Another suspect in the case and Zikra's cousin brother, Sahil, is also in touch with the police regarding the case. Both Zikra and Sahil have been identified as the prime suspects in the murder case, which has sparked massive protests in the locality.

According to a report by news agency PTI, Zikra, who worked as a bouncer for jailed Delhi gangster Hashim Baba's wife, was reportedly present at the spot where the 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death on Thursday. The police, meanwhile, have identified another suspect in the case, Rehan, after scanning the CCTV footage of the area.

"We have identified the accused who will be nabbed soon. Ten teams have been formed to crack the case, and they are looking at all possible angles. We have detained a few people for questioning. The case will be solved soon," Joint Commissioner of Police (Eastern Range), Pushpendra Kumar said, as quoted by PTI.

The brutal murder of the young boy has ignited protests in Seelampur, with demonstrators holding signs that read, "Modiji madad karo, Yogi model chahiye" (Modi help us, we want the Yogi model).

Who is Lady Don, Zikra?

Zikra, a resident of Seelampur, is a known personality in the locality. She was reportedly working as a bouncer for jailed Delhi gangster Hashim Baba's wife, Zoya Khan, who was arrested in February in connection with a drug trafficking case. Zoya Khan was reportedly arrested with 225 grams of heroin, valued at over Rs 1 crore.

Zikra was reportedly living with Zoya Khan before the latter was jailed. It is believed that Zikra was trying to form her own gang after Zoya's arrest. The deceased's family members claimed that sometime back, a few members from Kunal's community allegedly attacked Zikra's cousin brother, Sahil, prompting police to register an attempt to murder case.

"It is suspected that Kunal was also involved in the stabbing of Sahil. Although Sahil did not die, he, along with Zikra, hatched a plan to take revenge for the attack," PTI quoted a family source as saying.

Zikra was previously arrested under the Arms Act after posting a video with a pistol on social media. Out on bail, she was living in a rented house near Kunal's residence. She reportedly led a gang of 10-12 young men, some of whose names are now surfacing in connection with Kunal's murder.

"Zikra used to roam around in the area with a pistol. An incident happened with her cousin Sahil but my son was not involved in it. Yet they killed him. They brutally stabbed him multiple times," Parveen, the mother of the deceased, said as quoted by PTI.
