Shiv Sena (UBT) Split Buzz: Amid the reports suggesting a split in the Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs, the party on Wednesday claimed that two of the six alleged rebel MPs did not sign the letter submitted to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to form a separate group. As per the Uddhav Thackeray-led party, Omraje Nimbalkar of Dharashiv and Sanjay Patil of Mumbai North-East did not sign the letter.
However, Shinde Sena has reportedly said that the six MPs of the Uddhav Sena will join the ruling alliance, and an official announcement is likely soon. As per the reports, apart from Arvind Sawant, Anil Desai and Rajabhau Vaze, all the remaining parliamentarians are in touch with the Shinde Sena. However, Nimbalkar has stated that he will take a final decision after June 20.
Apart from this, Sanjay Patil said that he was in Mumbai on Wednesday, when the letter was submitted to the speaker. "I'm tired of these speculations. If something is going to happen, it will happen. There's no point in discussing it. I won't go anywhere for a list of rebel MPs. I haven't been invited by Shinde Sena, so why should I go to them? I'm not in touch with other MPs," Patil said.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Uddhav Thackeray-led party issued a whip for Thursday's parliamentary party meeting in Delhi, expecting at least three MPs to attend the meeting. If three or more parliamentarians join the meeting, it would be a setback for Shinde Sena, as the number of rebel MPs will then not meet the 2/3rd majority required to form a separate faction.

In a press conference held in Delhi, party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut alleged that a huge amount of money was being offered to the MPs to switch sides. He further stated that the MPs won under the leadership of Uddhav Thackeray, further asking the rebels to resign if they were not satisfied with the party functioning.
