Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut continued his abusive tirade for the second consecutive day on Thursday amid the ongoing split buzz in the party. While talking to the media, Raut hurled abuses, calling the rebel MPs 'cowards and ga**u.'

Raut said this during a press interaction in Delhi after the meeting of the party's Lok Sabha MPs. Consolidating the rift reports further, six rebel MPs skipped the UBT meeting.

Raut unapologetically vented out, repeating the cuss words to term the absentee MPs as "traitors, dishonest, and frauds," reiterating that they had "betrayed" the party with their "rebellion."

Earlier on Wednesday, Raut hurled abuses on alleged defectors, calling them, "S**l* Bh***ik*'. He doubled down on his vitriol, asking media persons not to cut the curse word. "Don't cut it, run it," Raut said.

Later, he defended his remarks, arguing that such expressions were part of "regular usage in Maharashtra," and asserted that he was aware of the appropriate language to use in different contexts.

Shiv Sena UBT is currently facing a second split in the party, following the 2022 split that left the party divided. Out of its 9 Lok Sabha MPs, Nagesh Aashtikar, Sanjay Deshmukh, Sanjay Jadhav, Sanjay Dina Patil, Omprakash Rajenimbalkar and Bhausaheb Wakchaure are said to have turned turncoat and formed a separate group to merge with Shiv Sena, the Eknath Shinde faction.

Dare for Rebel MPs, Blams to SC

Raut also issued a threat to the rebel MPs that it will become difficult for them to stay in their home now.

He said, "Unko MP banane waali party hai, karyakarta hai, jo sadak par ab utre hain aur utarte rahenge. Unko ghar main rehna mushkil hoga. On record bol raha hoon. (The party and workers have made them MPs, and these workers are now on the streets. It will become difficult for them to stay at home. I am saying this on record."

He dared the rebel MPs to visit their constituencies "Apne chunava kshetra main jaake dikhaye, agar jaayenge toh Bharat ki sena leke jaana padega (They should go and show themselves in your constituencies. If you do go, you will have to take the Indian Army along)," he threatened.

Raut also didn't mince words and questioned the role of the Supreme Court and the Election Commission.

"Dekhenge. Jo ho raha hai, usme gunahgaar Supreme Court bhi hai, desh main loktantra ki dhazziya uda rahe hai, usme sabse pehle gunehgaar desh ka Supreme Court hai aur desh ka chunav aayog. (We shall see. The Supreme Court is also culpable for what is happening. The Supreme Court and the Election Commission are the primary parties responsible for the way democracy is being torn to shreds in the country," Raut claimed.
