Shivraj Chouhan’s Son To Get Engaged With Businessman Anupam Bansal's Daughter On October 17

Union Minister and former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced the engagement of his elder son, Kartikey Singh Chouhan, on Monday. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, the Union Agriculture Minister announced that his elder son will get engaged to Amanat Bansal, daughter of businessman Anupam Bansal and Ruchita Bansal on October 17.

"As a father, today is a very happy occasion for me. My wife Sadhana, the entire family, and I are extremely happy to share with you all the good news that my elder son Kartikey is getting engaged to Amanat Bansal, daughter of Mr. Anupam Bansal and Mrs. Ruchita Bansal," Chouhan wrote on X.

Kartikey is a distinguished lawyer and alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania Law School while Amanat, daughter of Liberty Shoes director, has completed her MSc in Psychological Research from Oxford University. Amanat’s mother Ruchita Bansal is the founder of the Haryana Chapter of the Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs of India.

Notably, Shivraj Singh Chouhan served as the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh for four times. He is popularly known as “mama” (maternal uncle) across the state. He took oath as a minister in the Modi government in June this year, marking a significant milestone in his over three-decade-long political career.
