Bengaluru Naked Burglary: A man in Bengaluru's Bommanahalli area broke into a mobile store in the early hours of May 9, but what was more shocking- he was completely naked and was wearing a mask. He looted 85 mobile phones worth Rs 25 lakh. The man also carried a torch during the mobile heist.
However, the Bengaluru police have arrested the person. As reported by NDTV, the incident occurred at 1:30 AM and was captured on CCTV cameras inside the shop. The video captures the man bursting through the glass entryway and hastily gathering high-value mobile devices before fleeing the area.
According to police reports, the offender may have broken the glass after entering via a damaged wall. Authorities were able to track him down and apprehend him despite his unconventional approach, which involved stealing without any clothing, according to Samakalika Malayalam.
His reason to stay nude is still unknown, and police are presently questioning him to find out if it was psychological discomfort or an attempt to evade recognition.
The inquiry is still being conducted by officers at the Bommanahalli Police Station.
While similar thefts have been recorded in the past, authorities have not yet linked this case to any of those cases.
