Siyaram Baba News: Shiromani Siyaram Baba, a revered saint of Madhya Pradesh’s Nimar, passed away on Tuesday morning. Dr Hari Birla, who was treating him at the ashram for the past week, stated that Siyaram Baba had been battling health issues for several days and confirmed that he died due to prolonged illness. His followers are paying tributes on social media as preparations are underway for his funeral.

Siyaram Baba's last rites will take place at 4 PM today at Teli Bhatiyan on the banks of Narmada River. Siyaram Baba's health had been deteriorating since November 29, when he was diagnosed with pneumonia. 

Initially admitted to a private hospital in Samvad, he expressed a wish to return to his ashram, where his treatment continued under the supervision of doctors. Despite hospital-like facilities arranged by Khargone’s administration, his condition remained critical. He was on oxygen for seven days, consuming only liquids.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was scheduled to visit Siyaram Baba’s ashram in Nimar at 4 pm on Wednesday. However, the news of his death broke out this morning and according to some media reports, he will attend the last rites of Siyaram Baba today.

Who Was Siyaram Baba?

Known for his simplicity and devotion, Siyaram Baba was a Hanuman devotee who reportedly accepted only Rs 10 as donations, which he used for repairing Narmada Ghats and supporting religious institutions. Despite limited formal education, he was known for his recitations of Ramcharitmanas and his ability to inspire positivity among his followers.
