Solar Eclipse 2025: A partial solar eclipse is set to occur on September 21, when the Moon will partially cover the Sun as it comes between the Earth and Sun, blocking the light of the Sun. The celestial event will be visible from several regions across the world, allowing skywatchers to witness the partial solar eclipse.
According to Space.com, the eclipse will start at 1:29 PM EDT and reach its peak at 3:41 PM EDT when the Moon will block the largest part of the Sun.

Where Will The Partial Solar Eclipse 2025 Be Visible?
- The Partial Solar Eclipse 2025, occurring on September 21, will be primarily visible in the Southern Hemisphere.
- Skywatchers in Australia, Antarctica, and parts of the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans will also be able to observe the solar eclipse.
- Countries in South Asia, Africa and America will not witness the eclipse as the eclipse will occur overnight.
- However, skywatchers can witness the solar eclipse through online live streams.
Will Solar Eclipse 2025 Be Visible in India?
The partial solar eclipse scheduled for September 21 will not be visible in India, as the eclipse will occur overnight and the Sun will have already set by then. Since the solar eclipse will occur after sunset at 10:59 PM, skywatchers in India will not get a chance to witness the celestial event.

When Is The Next Solar Eclipse?
The partial solar eclipse on September 21 marks the last solar eclipse of the year. The next solar eclipse will occur on February 15, 2026. It will be an annular eclipse, visible in parts of Antarctica, Africa, South America, and across the Pacific, Atlantic, and Indian Oceans. However, this eclipse will also not be visible in India.
