SpiceJet said on Monday that 32 additional flights would be added to its winter schedule, which started on October 27, 2024. The airline hopes to increase connectivity and provide customers with additional travel alternatives with 30 domestic flights and two international flights that operate nonstop daily service between Delhi and Phuket.
The new routes include flights from Mumbai to Patna, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, and Goa, as well as extended service from Patna to Ahmedabad, Guwahati, Kolkata, and Bengaluru. Passengers from Chennai may now fly to Port Blair and Pune, while new destinations from Delhi include Phuket, Amritsar, and Gorakhpur. The schedule also links Kolkata and Port Blair.
Debojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer of SpiceJet said, "We are delighted to announce the addition of 32 new flights to our network. This expansion reflects our commitment to providing seamless connectivity, affordable air travel and an enhanced customer experience to our passengers. With improved schedules and increased frequencies, we aim to deliver greater reliability and convenience, ensuring our passengers reach their destinations efficiently."

Maharshi added, "As we continue to grow our fleet and operations, we will be adding more flights in the coming weeks. We look forward to welcoming passengers on board as we continue our journey towards a more robust fleet and service delivery."
The airline is also planning to expand its fleet with the addition of ten more planes by November.
Moreover, SpiceJet shares rose 4.2 percent to a day high of 59.29 on the BSE after the firm announced the launch of 32 additional flights for the winter schedule, seeking to improve connectivity and give customers with more alternatives.
