Spiritual Leader Jagadguru Rambhadracharya has demanded Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir from the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Upendra Dwivedi in Guru Dakshina. The spiritual leader put forward his request during Dwivedi’s visit to his ashram in Madhya Pradesh’s Chitrakoot on Wednesday.
Rambhadracharya said he demanded a guru dakshina (offering or honorarium to a guru or teacher in Hinduism) of PoK from the Chief of Army Staff.
Offering further details on the incident, Jagadguru revealed that the Army Chief received the same diksha (initiation) with the Ram Mantra that Lord Hanuman was given from Goddess Sita before conquering Lanka, Money Control reported.

“I have asked for Dakshina from him, that I want PoK back,” news agency ANI quoted Jagadguru as saying.
The request for PoK in guru dakshina from Jagadguru Rambhadracharya came days after India launched the military action Operation Sindoor against Pakistan to avenge the killings in the Pahalgam terror attack.
During its retaliatory action, India targeted nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to avenge the killing of 26 people murdered in a terrorist attack in Baisaran valley of Pahlgam in Jammu and Kashmir.
Following India’s Operation Sindoor on May 7, Pakistan attempted to attack Indian military bases on May 8, 9 and 10, including several drone attacks in border areas of India. The Indian side responded strongly to Pakistani attempts. The two sides reached an understanding to stop military action on May 10.
India has now sent seven multi-party delegations to key partner countries, including members of the UN Security Council, to convey India's united message of zero tolerance against terrorism.
