Suraj Revanna Case:  Father Says 'I Know What's Happening In State'

"I won't react to anything. Let the (CID) do it (investigation). Who said don't (investigate)? I won't say anything about this. I have respect for the judiciary. I know what's happening in the state," Revanna said.

HD Revanna, who himself faces allegations of sexual misconduct and abduction and is currently on bail, said that he does not fear any conspiracies.

"I won't react to anything. I have faith in God and the judiciary. I won't fear such conspiracies. I know what it is...time will decide," Revanna Sr said.

On being asked who was conspiring against the family, Revanna said, "I don't know, you (media) will have to tell -- who, what. I will leave it to you...will face it...the judiciary is there. Suraj has gone (to the police)... everyone knows what has happened in the last couple of days."

Asked to respond on the 'blackmail' case registered by his son against two people, he said, "I don't know what it is. Time will come when time comes I will tell everything," as quoted by PTI.

Suraj Revanna has denied the serious allegations levied against him and said that the case was filed after a bid to extort Rs 5 crore from him did not materialise. On Friday, his close aide Shivakumar filed a case against two people accusing them of blackmailing the MLC on the pretext of a false rape case.
