Surat Weather: Surat witnessed early morning rainfall on Wednesday, bringing relief to residents after days of intense heat and humidity. The showers, accompanied by strong winds, were reported in several parts of the city including Adajan, Pal, Rander and the Eighth Lines area. The sudden weather change has slowly created a rainy atmosphere across Surat.

In the last three days, the city faced high temperatures and dry winds, causing discomfort to locals. The drop in temperature and arrival of rain on Tuesday morning provided a much-needed break from the heat.

The rain came with gusty winds, and several areas experienced light to moderate showers. Black clouds were seen covering the skies, indicating a possible continuation of rain through the day.

Surat Weather Forecast

As per the forecast, Surat is expected to experience thunderstorms and rain in the coming days. On May 21, temperatures are likely to remain between 30 degrees Celsius and 38 degrees Celsius with thunderstorm activity. Similar conditions are expected on May 22 and 23, with minimum temperatures between 28–29 degrees Celsius and maximums around 35–36 degrees Celsius. A slight drop in temperature is expected on May 24, with a range of 27 degrees Celsius to 34 degrees Celsius. Rain or thundershowers are also likely on May 25 and 26.Surat Weather forecast

Gujarat Weather Forecast

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather alert for Gujarat from May 21 to May 26. Light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms is likely in districts across North Gujarat, including Ahmedabad, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Kheda, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod and Mahisagar.

Similar weather is expected in all of South Gujarat, including Surat, Vadodara, Navsari, Valsad, and Dang, as well as in Daman and Dadra Nagar Haveli. Rainfall is also forecast for several parts of Saurashtra like Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Amreli and Junagadh due to a cyclonic circulation developing over the northeast Arabian Sea.
