Tamil Nadu Election Voter List Update: The Election Commission of India (ECI) is set to release the Integrated Draft Electoral Roll for Tamil Nadu on December 19, 2025, following the completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists.
The Chief Electoral Officer, Archana Patnaik, will announce the publication of the draft electoral roll during a media interaction scheduled for this afternoon, Economic Times reported.

- Voter Helpline App: This app, available on both Android and iOS, enables quick and convenient mobile search.
- Chief Electoral Officer, Tamil Nadu: The CEO Tamil Nadu website will provide booth-wise PDF electoral roll lists for each polling station.
Offline Options:
Voters can reach out to their Booth Level Officer (BLO) to check their name in the draft electoral roll at the local polling station.

What To Do If Your Name Is Missing From Voter List?
If your name is missing from the draft electoral roll, you can submit a claim or objection to the Election Commission during the specified timeline. The “Claims and Objections” period begins today, December 19, 2025, and usually runs for 30 days. Here’s the step-by-step guide:
- Fill Form 6: Fill Form 6 (Voter Registration) and submit it with ‘Annexure IV’, which is a Declaration Form, along with supporting documents to prove their identity and residence.
- Submit Form: You can submit the form to your local BLO or apply online via the official portal voters.eci.gov.in or using the ECINET App.
What To Do If Your Details Are Wrong?
If you want to correct errors in your details, such as name, age, or address, submit Form 8. You can submit Form 8 via the Voters’ Service Portal or the Voter Helpline App, which provides a tracking ID for each submission. Alternatively, you can submit the form to your Booth Level Officer (BLO) or Electoral Registration Officer at the local municipal office.
