Tamil Nadu Weather: Heavy Rain Alert In Sivaganga, Madurai, Theni, Other Districts Today; Check Chennai Forecast

Tamil Nadu Weather: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of heavy rain in six Tamil Nadu districts on Friday. Meanwhile, light to moderate showers are expected to lash Chennai.

Chennai is expected to witness light to moderate showers on Friday. Thunder and lightning is also likely in certain areas. The maximum temperature will be around 13-14 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature is likely to touch 24-25 Celsius.

6 Districts On Heavy Rain Alert Today

As per the Regional Meteorological Center, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning will occur in Puducherry and Karaikal. Ramanathapuram, Sivaganga, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Theni and Dindigul districts are expected to witness intense rain.

November 7: Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places over Ramanathapuram, Sivaganga, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul and Theni districts.

November 8: Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places over Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Tenkasi and Thoothukudi districts.

November 9: Light to moderate showers in a few areas in South and North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal areas.

November 10: Light to moderate rain in some areas of South and North Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal areas.
