Tamil Nadu Weather: The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) has announced that light to moderate rainfall is anticipated across various parts of Tamil Nadu over the next two days. Following a brief dry spell, rain is expected to resume from March 27 and continue into the next day. Chennai is also likely to experience light to moderate showers on Sunday.

The RMC attributed the impending rainfall to a north-south trough extending from North Interior Karnataka to South Tamil Nadu, located at an altitude of 1.5 km above mean sea level. While no significant changes in maximum temperatures are expected until Sunday, a rise of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius is forecasted for isolated areas on Monday and Tuesday.
