Thiruvananthapuram-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express Train: In a major boost to rail connectivity, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday flagged off a new Amrit Bharat Express on the Thiruvananthapuram-Charlapalli route. The Thiruvananthapuram North-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express train is set to strengthen rail connectivity between Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, offering a faster and more affordable travel option for students, professionals, and traders.

The Thiruvananthapuram North-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express train will be operated and maintained by the Southern Railway zone.

Thiruvananthapuram North-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express: Check Route, Stoppages, Frequency, Timetable

- Route: The Thiruvananthapuram North-Charlapalli-Thiruvananthapuram North Amrit Bharat Express will run as train numbers 17042/17041, with scheduled halts at Kollam, Chengannur, Kottayam, and Ernakulam Town, enhancing connectivity along the route, The Indian Express reported.

- Connectivity: The Thiruvananthapuram North-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express is scheduled to halt at 29 stations along the route, enhancing connectivity across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.

- Stoppages: Key stations include Varkala Shivagiri, Kollam, Karunagappalli, Kayamkulam, Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Changanassery, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Tiruttani, Renigunta, Nellore, Ongole, Bapatla, Tenali, Guntur, Sattenapalle, Miryalaguda, and Nalgonda.

- Frequency: The Thiruvananthapuram North-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express will operate as a weekly service, departing from Thiruvananthapuram North every Wednesday and from Charlapalli every Tuesday, the report added.

- Timetable: According to The Indian Express report, train number 17042, the Thiruvananthapuram North-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express, is scheduled to depart Thiruvananthapuram North at 5:30 PM on Wednesdays, arriving in Charlapalli at 11:30 PM the next day.

- Timetable: In its return journey, train number 17041, the Charlapalli-Thiruvananthapuram North Amrit Bharat Express, will leave Charlapalli at 7:15 AM on Tuesdays, reaching Thiruvananthapuram North at 2:45 PM on Wednesday.
