Trainee Aircraft Crashes In UP's Kasganj, Woman Pilot Sustains Serious Injuries

Jagran Correspondent, Kasganj: A training aircraft that took off on a training flight from Aligarh's Dhanipur airstrip crashed behind the police line in Uttar Pradesh's Kasganj after developing a technical fault at around 4 pm on Monday.

27-year-old trainee pilot Kainat, daughter of Kader Khan, a resident of Mumbai, was flying the plane when the mishap took place. She was seriously injured in the crash. With the help of local people and police, she was immediately admitted to the district hospital, where she is undergoing treatment.

According to preliminary information, the plane took off for a training flight from the Dhanipur airstrip in UP's Aligarh. However, the accident occurred due to a technical malfunction mid-air, leading to a crash. Two trainee pilots were on board when the crash took place.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Aligarh airport management and relevant officials rushed to the scene. The exact cause of the accident is under investigation and will be revealed after a detailed investigation.

IAF aircraft crash in Assam
