A truck collided with the Mumbai-Amravati Express near Bodwad Railway Station in Maharashtra early Friday morning, briefly disrupting train services. Fortunately, all passengers and the truck driver escaped unharmed.
The accident occurred around 4:30 am when a truck carrying wheat attempted to cross the railway tracks through an unauthorised route. A video of the collision shows the truck split in two, with smoke rising from its engine. The front portion of the truck got stuck to the train’s engine, but officials confirmed that the train itself remained undamaged.

Railway Traffic Disrupted, Later Restored
Authorities stated that the level crossing had been closed for a long time and replaced with a Railway Over Bridge (ROB). However, the truck broke through the old level crossing barrier, leading to the crash.

The collision damaged railway infrastructure, including overhead electric wires, causing a temporary disruption. Railway officials quickly restored train services by 8:50 am.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause and prevent future occurrences.
