Tirupati Temple Updates: To make the laddu payment procedure easier, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) installed self-service kiosks at the laddu counters, according to temple sources, reported Telangana Today.

These devices, which are placed at several laddu counters at Tirumala, allow pilgrims to easily pay for extra laddus using UPI, according to a TTD announcement.

"After successful payment, pilgrims receive a receipt that can be used to collect additional laddus at the counter without waiting in long lines," according to the announcement released Monday night.

TTD has been adopting many digital efforts to optimise crowd flow and provide efficient, hassle-free services to huge groups of pilgrims visiting the hill shrine. This new kiosk service is part of TTD's larger endeavor to use technology and improve devotee pleasure at all points of their Tirumala visit, according to the statement.

TTD officials stated that more kiosks would be built in stages after reviewing the reaction, and workers had been sent to help older residents and first-timers. According to the press release, the temple authority is considering expanding such digital amenities to additional service areas, such as lodging and prasadam counters, in the coming months.
