Twisha Sharma Death: In a major development in the Twisha Sharma suspicious death case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has reportedly raised serious questions over the functioning of the Madhya Pradesh Police's Special Investigation Team (SIT). As per the reports, the central agency was displeased upon observing the incomplete and disorganised case diary submitted by the SIT. The CBI has taken over the case and is likely to continue questioning the people involved in the matter for concrete information.

The CBI officials raised objections after the diary submitted by the SIT had several issues, including improper recording of the sequence of events, disorganised documents, and unclear articulation of several key points. However, SIT Chief ACP Rajneesh Kashyap later arrived with the revised case diary and the necessary documents, reported Jagran.com, citing sources.

Earlier on Tuesday, a CBI team first arrived at the bungalow where Twisha had died under suspicious circumstances. The team inspected the room, the surrounding areas, and every aspect related to the crime scene. Apart from this, the officials also examined the physical evidence at the site and are also likely to conduct a re-examination of several pieces of previously collected evidence.

The CBI officials later questioned Giribala Singh, a retired judge and Twisha's mother-in-law, and reportedly asked questions around the family circumstances. The team reportedly asked questions regarding family environment, marital relationship between Twisha and Samarth Singh, and the circumstances preceding the incident.

The team later arrived at the 3 EME Centre in Lalghati, where Twisha's parents and other relatives are staying. The CBI officials also met with Police Commissioner Sanjay Kumar to obtain details regarding the police investigation. The SIT team reportedly handed over the case diary to the CBI in the late hours of Tuesday after making the necessary changes.
