The locomotive pilots of the Udaipur-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express helped prevent an accident on Monday after identifying stones and other impediments on the tracks.
The locomotive pilots activated the emergency brakes.
A video circulated on social media shows stones and two one-foot rods inserted in the track's joggle plate in the Gangarar-Soniyana segment.
The incident took place at about 9:55 AM, and the Railway Police and local authorities are investigating.
This could have been disastrous !!

The Udaipur-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express leaves Udaipur city at 7:50 AM and arrives in Jaipur at 14:05 PM. It runs six days a week, excluding Tuesdays.
Stone pelting on trains is not uncommon but this was the first incident of a Vande Bharat train being targeted in the state.
Earlier in July, a man and his two sons hurled stones at a Vande Bharat train running from Gorakhpur to Lucknow, smashing its window panes.
The accused told police that they threw stones at the train as it ran near Ayodhya's Sohawal station.
