UP News: The railings installed along the road divider in UP’s Noida Sector 18 collapsed and fell on the road following heavy rainfall in the early hours of Friday. No injuries have been reported in the incident. Notably, the Delhi-NCR region was blanketed by incessant downpours and thunderstorms, offering much-needed relief from the sweltering heat.

Severe waterlogging was witnessed in Noida Sector 62. People waded through the waterlogged area after incessant rainfall lashed Delhi-NCR.

Braving woes, friday morning saw children having some fun as they went to school hiding under plastic covers, enjoying the breeze.

 Noida Sector 95 also saw similar conditions after overnight rainfall.

Looking ahead, the weather agency has issued a 'yellow alert' until July 3, predicting generally cloudy skies and varying intensities of rain accompanied by gusty winds over the next seven days. The weather on June 29 is expected to be slightly cooler, with a high of 36 degrees Celsius and a low of 28 degrees Celsius, along with the likelihood of light to moderate rain or thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) announced on Friday that the monsoon has arrived in Delhi-NCR, bringing an end to a prolonged and severe heatwave. This early arrival of the monsoon has brought cheer to the residents, who have been eagerly awaiting the onset of the rainy season to provide respite from the scorching heat.
