Delhi Rains: Following severe waterlogging due to incessant rainfall, traffic congestion and slow vehicular movement is being witnessed at key junctions in the national capital, including ITO, NH9, Mayur Vihar area and the Ring Road. Heavy rains caused massive disruptions in the daily commute near Aurobindo Road, where vehicular movement was significantly affected from South Delhi to the IIT flyover. The situation is no different for the NCR region, which saw similar conditions on Friday morning.

Visuals from Azad Market underpass showed passengers being rescued from a bus stuck due to severe waterlogging.

Raisina and Firozeshah roads also witnessed waterlogging after incessant heavy rainfall. 

Severe waterlogging in Lodhi Estate after roads flooded following overnight downpour in the national capital. People waded through the waterlogged areas.

Areas like Safdarjung and AIIMS saw people walking in knee deep water. The waterlogged roads made the movement of ambulances and other vehicles difficult in the area.

Commuters faced major inconveniences near metro stations as well, with Saket Metro Station and Bhikaji Cama Place being heavily waterlogged.

Areas in the neighbouring Gurugram, were not spared, with severe waterlogging reported due to the relentless rain.
