Jagran Correspondent, Agra: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast an increase in temperatures in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra on Tuesday. Thunderstorms are possible on June 10, while thunderstorms and rain are likely to hit the city on June 11 and 12.

On Monday, the scorching heat along with high humidity troubled the residents throughout the day. The city had witnessed drizzle after a storm on Sunday night. This brought a change in the weather and brought relief to people. On Monday at 8:30 am, the humidity level reached 62 per cent. The situation remained the same till evening.

Temperatures Rising

On Monday, the maximum temperature was 41.9 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature was 27.8 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was 0.8 degrees Celsius above normal and the minimum temperature was 0.6 degrees Celsius below normal. On Sunday, the maximum temperature was 41.4 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 25.8 degrees Celsius.

Temperature Set To Rise From Today

Meteorologist Mohammad Danish said that an increase in temperature could be seen on Tuesday.

As per IMD, western regions of Uttar Pradesh are likely to witness light rainfall between June 10 and 14. Apart from this, a warning has been issued for strong winds and rain in the eastern districts on June 12. As per the weather forecast, heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms is likely in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh between June 9 and 14.
