US-Iran War: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak to the Chief Ministers of all states and Union Territories via video conferencing on Friday to review the state's preparedness amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
The meeting will focus on ensuring synergy of efforts in the spirit of "Team India", as Iran continues its chokehold on the Strait of Hormuz, affecting energy flows, NDTV quoted a source as saying.

The Prime Minister advocated for collaborative efforts in his speech in the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday, noting that the effects of the ongoing war are likely to linger and emphasising the need for collective action.
Encouraging state governments to safeguard India's robust growth trajectory, PM Modi recalled the exemplary 'Team India' spirit demonstrated during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the Centre and states worked together on testing, vaccination, and supply of essential goods. He stressed that the same spirit needs to be shown in the current situation.
"With the combined efforts of all state governments and the central government, the country will be able to effectively confront this grave global crisis. We must carry forward the same 'Team India' spirit," PM Modi said on Tuesday.

'No Shortage Of Petroleum Products In India': J-K CM Omar Abdullah
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday said that he will attend the meeting, emphasising that there is no shortage of petroleum products in the country.
"Prime Minister has convened a meeting tomorrow at 6:30 PM, which I will also attend. The discussion will focus on the situation in Iran and the surrounding region, and the steps being taken in response," said Abdullah.
Addressing the situation in the Union Territory, the Chief Minister said that there are adequate stocks of petrol and LPG cylinders, and that queues outside petrol pumps are driven by rumours circulating on social media.
"If this continues, I may be compelled to shut petrol pumps for a few days," the chief minister said.
