Amroha Woman Murder Case: In a shocking incident, Amroha Police discovered a mangled body of a young woman, cut into 20 pieces and stuffed in two gunny bags on Tuesday. The woman aged between 20 to 25 years is suspected to have been pregnant at the time of the murder, said senior police officials. The body was found within the jurisdiction of Naugawa Saadat police station in the Amroha district on Tuesday morning.
Officials stated that the police are working to identify the deceased by circulating a photo of her face and employing manual intelligence methods. An FIR for murder under Indian Penal Code section 302 has been filed against unknown persons.
Villagers located body
Naugawa Circle Officer Anjali Kataria said that locals discovered the body around 300 meters away from the main road, between Shavmandi Dhanura and Bijnor near Khetapur village on Tuesday morning. The presence of flies around two bags drew attention to the scene. After receiving information about the incident, the police inspected the area and transferred the body to the mortuary for additional examination.
Kataria further said that an investigation is in progress, with multiple teams deployed to determine the deceased person's identity so that the case could be resolved soon.
Murderer probably used an electric cutter to sever body parts
Another official said that each of the 20 body parts of the women was placed in plastic bags, which were then clubbed in the gunny bag. From the preliminary investigation it is suspected that the murderer used an electric cutter to chop off the limbs and other body parts, as the cut marks are very sharp, the official added.

He mentioned that there was no blood discovered at the scene of the crime, leading to the assumption that the woman was murdered elsewhere. Later, her body was dismembered before being disposed of in the bushes along Bijnor Road. Additionally, he noted that the initial examination of the body parts indicated that the woman was pregnant.
According to the information received from locals, the police said that the body parts appeared to be about one day old. The assailants are believed to have disposed of the body between midnight on Monday and 6 am on Tuesday, as no one witnessed anyone throwing the bags into the thickets during that time frame. The absence of tyre marks near the location suggests that the assailants likely walked to the spot to discard the bags.
