Uttarakhand Cloudburst:  The Dharmganga river was once again observed in a terrifying condition on Wednesday night, due to excessive rainfall in the disaster-affected district of Budha Kedar. The river's water level rose as a result of the Kot Gadera cloudburst. As a result, the nets used for road rehabilitation were also destroyed.

Additionally, 10 metres of the Budha Kedar-Pinswar motorway have been washed out. At the same time, a Poklane machine became trapped in the river's string current, causing damage. The Naib Tehsildar who arrived at the scene assessed the damage. The river's overflow has also hampered repair efforts.

There was a cloud burst in Kot Gadera, which runs near Jhala Tok, late Wednesday night. As a result, the river's water level rose, as well as there were accumulation of wood, garbage, and stones. The people of Budha Kedar became scared again as the river's water level rose. The water swept away a section of the Budhakedar-Pinswad road.

Previously, due to increasing water in the river, this motor road had caved in at many locations, and road repairs were underway. However, due to last night's storm, a portion of the road was swept away. As a result, the people of Pinswar are facing more transportation challenges.

At the same time, Poklane equipment used for road maintenance became trapped in the river water and was destroyed. According to village heads Sanop Singh Rana and Bhupendra Singh Negi, severe rain began in the region at 1 AM. During this period, the sound of large rocks and stones could be heard in the Dharmganga River.
