Uttarakhand Weather News: Uttarakhand is witnessing a shift in weather patterns, with contrasting conditions in the hills and plains. According to the latest forecast from the Dehradun-based Meteorological Centre, light rain is expected in several hilly districts over the next two days, while the plains will continue to experience dry and hot weather.

Rain Forecast for These Districts

Strong winds and changing weather conditions have triggered a chance of light rainfall in parts of the hills. On Saturday, the following districts may see very light rain accompanied by thunder:

- Uttarkashi

- Rudraprayag

- Chamoli

- Bageshwar

- Pithoragarh

- Tehri

- Almora

- Champawat

- Nainital

A yellow alert has been issued for some of these districts, particularly Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh, where strong winds at 30–40 km/h may also occur.

The weather in the plains remains dry and hot. Cities like Dehradun experienced some morning relief due to clouds and breeze, but the intense sunshine returned by midday, pushing up the temperature. Dehradun recorded a maximum temperature of 36.5 degrees C and a minimum of 22.3 degrees C, both slightly above normal.
