Uttarakhand Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rain at some places in Dehradun, Tehri, Bageshwar and Nainital districts on Wednesday. Yellow alerts have been issued in these four districts. Heavy rain with thunder and lightning is also likely in remaining Uttarakhand districts. People have been advised to remain alert about landslides in the mountains and low-lying areas. There is also a possibility of landslides on the Char Dham yatra routes due to heavy rainfall.
According to the Meteorological Center, Haridwar, Udham Singh Nagar, Pauri, Tehri, Rudraprayag, Almora, Champawat and Pithoragarh may also receive moderate rainfall.
In the last 24 hours, Dehradun received 13.3 mm rainfall and Mussoorie received 15.6 mm rainfall. On Tuesday, from around 11 am to 1.30 pm, Dharampur, Kargi, ISBT, Patel Nagar, Haridwar Bypass, Maldevta, Raipur, Garhi Cantt, Prem Nagar and Bidholi areas of the city received torrential rain for about 2.5 hours.
Temperature In Major Uttarakhand Cities
The maximum temperature of Dehradun was 31.9 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 23.3 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature of Pantnagar was 33.6 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 25.2 degrees Celsius above normal. The maximum temperature of Tehri was 19.5 degrees Celsius, three degrees Celsius below normal, and the minimum temperature was 14.6 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature of Mukteshwar was 24.0 degrees Celsius, three degrees Celsius below normal, and the minimum temperature was 16.8 degrees Celsius.
