Uttarkashi Cloudburst Update:Several people are feared dead and missing after Dharali village of Uttarkashi witnessed a devastating flash flood triggered by a cloudburst in the Kheer Ganga river. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami stated that all the rescue teams have arrived at the site and are engaged in relief operations. The visuals have emerged on social media platforms, which show the scale of devastation. While reacting to the visuals, the netizens have been praying for everyone's safety and security.

"The news of heavy damage caused by a cloudburst in the Dharali (Uttarkashi) region is extremely sad and distressing. SDRF, NDRF, district administration, and other related teams are engaged in relief and rescue operations on a war footing. In this regard, I am in constant contact with senior officials, and the situation is being closely monitored. I pray to God for everyone's safety," Dhami stated in a post on X.

While reacting to the visuals, one of the netizens urged the administration to take every possible steps to minimise the causalities.

"Scary visuals! Flash floods hit #Uttarkashi after a cloudburst; several villagers have been washed away," one of the users stated.

 "The entire town is covered in debris and water levels continue to rise. This monsoon is turning into a nightmare. Prayers for all those affected," another user stated.

 An image has also surfaced on the social media platforms that shows before and after images of the village that got hit by the flash-floods.
