Vaishno Devi Darshan News: The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) has issued an important advisory for pilgrims following a rise in booking-related frauds. The Shrine Board has urged pilgrims to exercise caution and avoid making any payments in response to fake messages, phone calls or WhatsApp forwards that falsely claim to offer bookings for the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra or associated services.

To ensure a safe journey, the Shrine Board has advised pilgrims not to trust misleading advertisements issued by unauthorised individuals and websites and rely only on official channels for bookings.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Shrine Board said, "The Pilgrims are cautioned against making any payments in response to fake messages, phone calls or WhatsApp forwards that falsely claim to offer bookings for the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra or related services. Please do not fall prey to fraudulent advertisements issued by unauthorised websites or individuals."

Vaishno Devi Yatra Booking Only Through Official Channels

Pilgrims are strongly advised to make bookings for the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Yatra or associated services through the official website of Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board at http://maavaishnodevi.org. Further details are available on the official website.

Smart Locker Facility At Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine

- To enhance pilgrim convenience, the Shrine Board has set up smart locker facilities at multiple locations, including Adhkuwari, Gate No. 03, and various Bhawan halls like Parvati, Durga, and Ram Mandir.

- Pilgrims with confirmed bookings for services, such as the SSVP, Ataka Aarti, Nav Chandi Path, Group Ataka, Katra-Panchhi Helicopter, and Jammu-Bhawan-Jammu packages, can access the smart lockers at Room No. 04 free of cost.

- To avail this free service, devotees must ensure their booking receipts are officially stamped at the Room No. 04 reception counter, as unstamped documents will not be accepted.
