Vande Bharat Sleeper Train First Look: The much-awaited sleeper version of the Vande Bharat train is about to be launched at Chennai's Integral Coach Factory (ICF). We can see the train's interior, opulent decor, and cutting-edge technology in recently released photos that are being widely circulated on social media.
The Vande Bharat sleeper train prototype, developed by ICF and BEML, will be ready for testing by November 15.

Initial tests are ongoing, and full trials will be conducted in Lucknow, focusing on speeds up to 180 KMPH.

Along with chair car versions and metro trains, this latest addition broadens the Vande Bharat range. The Vande Bharat sleeper, which is intended for overnight travel, is anticipated to run on routes that span 800–1,200 kilometres.

There are several features in the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train that will improve the safety and comfort of its passengers. With 16 carriages and complete air conditioning, the train can carry up to 820 passengers. Travel times will be greatly shortened by the new train, which has a peak speed of 160 kilometres per hour.
ICF General Manager U Subba Rao emphasised the modern conveniences that distinguish the Vande Bharat sleeper from traditional trains.

Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Key Features

Anti-Collision 'Kavach' System
Among other cutting-edge security measures, the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train contains an emergency brake system. Coaches are not allowed to pile on top of one another in the case of an accident due to to the train's anti-climbing and anti-collision "Kavach" systems.
