Congress leader Vikramaditya Singh on Thursday took a swipe at BJP leader and Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut after the latter said that if anyone needs to get their work done, they can send it in writing along with a copy of their Aadhaar card. Attacking Kangana, the Congress leader said that no one needs an Aadhaar card to meet him.

"No one needs an Aadhaar card to meet me, anyone from any corner of the state can meet me for their work," wrote Vikramaditya on his Facebook handle. He contested Lok Sabha polls against Kangana from Mandi.

Earlier, Kangana had met the family members of a man Dhandev who has been reportedly missing from Kuwait since June 24, days after the Kuwait fire incident. Addressing a press conference after inaugurating MP Jan Samvad Kendra in Mandi, she said that people can come to her with their problems.

She also mentioned that if the people of the state need to get any work done, they can write a letter and attack their Aadhaar card copy along with the same. Their issues will be addressed.

Actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut, who registered her first victory on a BJP ticket from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, took oath as a member of Parliament on the first day of the 18th Lok Sabha on June 24.

Ranaut said vowed to fulfill the responsibility that she has got as an MP to serve the people of her constituency -- Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, "with full devotion".

She defeated Congress candidate Vikramaditya Singh in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
