Julana Vidhan Sabha Election 2024: In Julana constituency, Olympian Vinesh Phogat, leads by 6,015 votes while BJP's Yogesh Kumar trails. Other competitors include incumbent Julana MLA and Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) candidate Amarjeet Dhanda, and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate and wrestler Kavita Dalal.

Phogat, who entered the political arena last month by joining the Congress, is testing her electoral fate. Today marks a pivotal moment in Haryana Politics as the counting of votes is underway. After months of poll campaigning and debates, the fate of 1,031 candidates—including prominent figures like Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, senior Congress leaders Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Kumari Selja, and JJP leader Dushyant Chautala will be decided today.

Meanwhile, social media users could not restrain themselves from commenting on the changing trends as the counting continues.

A user wrote, “From blaming Weighing Machine to blaming Electronic Voting Machine. Vinesh Phogat has come a long way.”

“olympics committee watching vinesh phogat celebrating her win by eating jalebis & increasing her weight in kgs,” another user wrote.

Another user wrote that "no matter who forms the government or who wins the election, it does not matter."

"Nothing will make me happier than #VineshPhogat losing. Not because she’s fighting on a Congress ticket, but because she cost India a medal by first disregarding the qualification rounds in India before the Games and then by being irresponsible at the Games,” said another user.
