In a viral video shared on social media platform X, a woman is seen abusing a cab driver over a seven-minute delay due to traffic. The footage, recorded by the driver, captures the woman using offensive language in both Hindi and English and then spitting on the man before leaving.

The woman can be heard saying, "11 bje ki cab book ki thi tu 11.07 pe aaya hai, tune mujhe late karaya. Sari galti teri hai, apni galti manna sikh. Tu zindagi bhar driver ki tarah hi rahega. Khud bhi yahi pe baitha reh aur bachon ko bhi driver banaiyo. (I booked a cab at 11 o'clock, you came at 11.07, you got me late. It's all your fault, learn to accept your mistakes. You will stay a driver all your life. Stay like this and also make your children drivers.)"

Throughout the confrontation, the driver maintains his composure, calmly suggesting that she file a complaint with the cab company. The cab driver requested her to get out of the cab. The video garnered significant attention online, with many criticising the woman's behaviour and praising the driver's restraint. Some social media users in the comment section requested for the woman to be banned from all ride-sharing platforms.

The video was captioned, "This Cab driver was 7 mins late. The woman who booked the cab abused the driver, threatened him and spat on him. The Taxi Driver never lost his cool. He stayed calm & composed. It is good that he recorded the incident. Otherwise, Samaj would have declared himself the culprit easily. This woman should be banned from booking Cabs all over India. She should buy her own Car and travel.” Shared by X user, @incognito_qfs, the video gained over 506k views.

One user commented, “My heart sank the moment she said your children will be drivers as well. I don't know why she started abusing family....not good.” Another said, “She could have canceled if he was getting late but why do this after getting in? Who is she to insult a driver?”

A similar video was shared in response that showed another woman beating and abusing an auto driver as the driver asked the woman to pay for the auto fare. In the video, the woman could be seen slapping the auto driver continuously even after he apologised and touched the woman’s feet.
