India Weather Forecast For July: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday issued above normal rainfall for central parts of India, along with UP, Haryana, and Uttarakhand, in July as the southwest monsoon has covered the entire India nine days early.

Accordingly, the weather department has asked authorities and people to stay alert due to the risk of flooding. Due to intensified rainfall activity, the average maximum temperature is likely to remain normal to below normal in these regions.

Apart from these regions, northeast, many areas of eastern and extreme southern peninsular India are likely to receive below-normal rainfall. Accordingly, the average maximum temperature is likely to rise in these areas.

IMD Director General Mrutyunjay Mohapatra said during an online press briefing that the states and states which will see increased downpour are east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, adjoining areas of Vidarbha and Telangana and parts of Gujarat and Maharashtra, UP, Haryana and Uttarakhand.

We should monitor the catchment areas of rivers such as the Godavari, Mahanadi and Krishna. Our models show a high probability of above-normal rainfall in the upper Mahanadi catchment, which includes Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. There are several other rivers in the region. We must closely watch rainfall activity and the water levels in reservoirs," he said.

The country receives 28 cm of rainfall on average in July. Talking about Uttarakhand, Mohapatra said, "This region includes several cities and towns, including Delhi. Many south-flowing rivers originate in Uttarakhand. We must take precautions for all these river catchments, cities and towns."
