Weather Weather: Following the departure of the monsoon, the weather in North India is rapidly changing. Several states, including Delhi-NCR, are experiencing mild chills in the mornings and evenings. Following snowfall in the hilly states, temperatures in the plains are also rapidly dropping.

Meanwhile, India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall in several states. The southwest monsoon is expected to drench several parts of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.

Weather In Delhi-NCR

Delhi is experiencing chilly mornings and evenings. Clear weather is expected on Tuesday. Despite bright sunshine, temperatures will hover between 31 and 33 degrees Celsius. Winds are expected to blow at speeds of up to 10 kilometres per hour, making it colder at night.

UP-Bihar Weather

The skies will remain clear in Uttar Pradesh until October 16. Light rain is also expected in many districts starting October 16.

Meanwhile, no rain warning has been issued for Bihar and Jharkhand for the next few days. Temperatures in these states are expected to remain between 19-31 degrees Celsius. However, the weather in these states may change after October 19.

Weather In Hilly States

Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are experiencing snowfall. Avalanches are likely in many areas. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain dry in these states from October 14 to 17. Many areas will be shrouded in fog in the morning, while cold winds may increase the chill at night.

IMD has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by gusty winds in parts of Odisha. Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha may also experience light rain on October 14-15. In Rajasthan, easterly winds have become active after the northerly winds weakened. Consequently, the weather is expected to remain dry in many areas of Rajasthan.
